About the Job
This 13-week travel assignment requires a US Tech with 1 year of experience to work 36 hours per week in a 12-hour day shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using ultrasound machines, preparing patients, and reporting findings to physicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate patients and their families about procedures
- Use sonographic equipment to identify areas of concern
- Prepare exam rooms and assist radiologists
- Report abnormalities to medical staff
- Maintain sonography equipment and machinery
- Conduct scan tests and write reports
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- ARDMS National Certification
- State-specific licensing (when required)
- BLS certification
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
