Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) to join our team on a travel assignment in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as required
- Position patients accurately for CT scanning
- Capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and follow safety procedures when working with radiation
- Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a CT Tech
- BLS certification
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop easily
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Additional Information:
This is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts. The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
