Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Burlington, Massachusetts.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience and be certified as an ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT. They will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment and ensuring accurate images are obtained for medical interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance
- Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment
- Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images
- Maintain accurate patient records and understand the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:
- 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging
- State-specific licensing when required
- A sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
