About The Role

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Help patients develop, recover, and maintain skills for daily living and working activities.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Document all patient interactions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies.
- Provide patient and family education on therapy exercises and adaptive techniques for home use.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active California OT license (required).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient care.
- Current BLS/BCLS certification.
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills.
- Facility Type: Acute care hospital offering inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services.
- Schedule: Variable, includes weekends.
- Start Date: December 1, 2025
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Pay: Competitive weekly rates with overtime and holiday pay at an additional $10/hr.
- Housing: Local options available (e.g., Keefer’s Inn or Greenfield Village Apartments).
