This 12-bed Neuro/Trauma Surgical ICU features a 2:1 patient ratio and specializes in managing complex neurological and trauma cases. Ideal candidates will have extensive critical care experience and strong proficiency in caring for patients with ICP monitors, CRRT, lumbar drains, and other advanced modalities. Flexibility is essential, as the RN will float to the Cardiovascular Unit, Telemetry Care Unit, ICU/CCU, or Med Surg units as needed. This role requires a clinician who is confident, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to neuro/trauma ICU patients in a Level II trauma setting
- Utilize EPIC for accurate, timely charting and clinical documentation
- Manage advanced equipment including ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery
- Float to additional critical care or Med Surg units as required
- Adhere to all clinical, safety, and compliance standards
- Minimum 5 years acute critical care experience
- Level II trauma critical care experience required
- Active California RN license (must be current)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- EPIC charting experience required
- Ability and readiness to float to multiple units
- Must qualify for W-2 employment through the agency
- Holiday coverage required
- Shift: NOC, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM start)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
