A well-established chiropractic clinic in Oconomowoc is seeking an energetic, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionistto join our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone with front desk, receptionist, medical office, or customer service experience who enjoys helping people and staying organized in a fast-paced environment. Our clinic has a large and loyal patient base and continues to grow as we help patients achieve better health through natural care.
Experience in a chiropractic clinic, healthcare administration, insurance verification, or patient scheduling is a plus but not required.

Monday: 9:00am-7:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am-6:00pm
Wednesday: 3:00pm-6:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am-6:00pm
Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm
(Occasional Saturdays 8:15am-11:30am)
Starting pay is between $17-$20/hr depending on experience
This is a permanent position. Full-time students need not apply.
Responsibilities
· Welcome patients upon arrival and assist with necessary patient intake forms
· Answer, screen and direct phone calls
· Schedule patient appointments and maintain electronic provider calendars
· Collect monies and post charges and payments into patient ledgers
· Scan documents and enter appropriate patient data into software
· Maintain compliance with HIPAA and privacy information
· Verbally provide insurance verification of benefits
· Operate online portals for treatment authorization requests
· Prepare patient statements to be mailed
· Prepare monthly new patient tracking reports
· Complete monthly recall tasks with texts and mailings
· Maintain cleanliness of reception area
· Update and maintain new patient referral reports
· Other clerical reception duties as needed, such as archiving, shredding, faxing and copying

· Strong customer service skills and professionalism
· Excellent in being detail-orientated and multi-tasking
· Interest in natural health and wellness
· Clear verbal communication and phone etiquette
· Basic knowledge of insurance processes and benefits
· Basic computer and typing skills
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
