Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience, taking orders and offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during events like banquets or catering functions.
- Uphold food safety standards by practicing proper food handling procedures when preparing garnishes or assisting with food service.
- Assist in setting up for special events such as private parties, ensuring all equipment is functional and ready for service.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy periods.
- Promote sales by suggesting specialty drinks or upselling menu items to maximize revenue opportunities.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience required, especially within fine dining or banquet environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS or Cake POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service background with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math for sales transactions, and accurate measurement of ingredients.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced hospitality settings.
REQUIREMENTS:

-TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification
-References (2 professional references from relevant previous employment)
-A working knowledge of craft cocktails and Italian wines
-Upscale dining experience, knowledge of steps of service
