Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area
- Aid in cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to uphold a hygienic environment
- Collaborate with culinary team members during busy service times to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols at all times to prevent contamination
- Assist with banquet setups or catering events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
