Pay: $17.00 per hour

Trapper's Sushi is looking to grow our team by adding a new Dishwasher in Federal Way, Washington!

Position Overview

Dishwashers are the backbone of our restaurant, ensuring our kitchen and dining teams have the clean tools they need to create an unforgettable guest experience. This role is vital in keeping our operations running smoothly and maintaining the high standards of cleanliness our guests expect.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas

• Load and unload dishwashing machines

• Wash specific items by hand (e.g., rice pots, very large cookware, and delicate glassware)

• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately

• Ensure that clean dishes, glasses, and utensils are adequately stocked, especially during peak hours

• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g., detergents)

• Check dishwashing machines' operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues

• Remove garbage regularly and dispose according to store procedures

• Clean and sanitize the kitchen area, bathrooms, and restaurant lobby as assigned

• Demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK core values

Experience and Qualifications

• Work experience as a Dishwasher or in any restaurant capacity preferred

• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks as needed

• Time management skills and reliability

• Attention to detail and sanitation rules

• High school diploma is a plus

• Washington State Food Worker Card required before first day of work

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

• Regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds

• Bend, twist, reach, and crouch occasionally while performing duties
