What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Shipper & Receiver Administrator position at Trapp Family Lodge?
von Trapp Family Lodge & Resort in Stowe, Vermont is seeking a detail-oriented Retail Shipper/Receiver Administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sorts shipments received each day for each department
- Emails and call departments daily with arrivals, so they can be picked up by each department
- Delivers packages to other departments if time permits
- Separates any von Trapp family mail and notifies family immediately of package arrivals
- Packs and ships orders from the Retail Shopify site, Retail Stores and Kafeehaus
- Communicate with customers via email or phone in a professional manner
- Packs shipments in accordance with von Trapp Resort standards
- Processes mail returns for customers
- Processes shipments received for Retail locations
- Receives the shipment in Yellow Dog System
- Verifies correct cost and Retail pricing before committing
- Print and apply appropriate price stickers to the products
- Requests credit from vendors for damages
- Prepares transfers to locations from Gift shop to other locations
- Maintains receiving area and stockroom to OSHA standards
- Calls for trash/recycling pick up when needed
- Delivers processed shipments to the Outdoor Center, Lodge Gift shop, Bierhall and Fitness Center via car or cart depending on location
- Assists with delivery of product to retail locations during peak times
- Assists with entering shipments into Yellow Dog System when needed
- Assists with semi annual inventory in Cottage location.
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 Ibs.
- Basic computer skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience with Yellow Dog System is advantageous.
