Job Summary
Seeking a vigilant and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of the contracted establishment. The primary responsibility will be acting as a bouncer at a bar, checking IDs, and maintaining a safe environment for all patrons and staff. The ideal candidate will be attentive, approachable, and capable of enforcing rules effectively while providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Monitor the entrance of the bar to verify the age of patrons by checking identification documents.
- Ensure that no weapons, contraband, or prohibited items are brought into the premises.
- Maintain order and enforce the establishment’s rules and policies.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or security concerns to management promptly.
- Assist in managing crowd control during busy hours or special events.
- Respond appropriately to incidents or disturbances, ensuring safety for everyone involved.
- Provide excellent customer service by remaining approachable and professional at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience in security, crowd control, or related roles is preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to perform and handle potential conflicts if necessary.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and legal regulations related to security work.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
