Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans designed to achieve revenue targets, margin improvement, and share-of-wallet growth.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders, serving as the main point of escalation and strategic advisor.
- Lead account management team to ensure consistent, proactive customer engagement, issue resolution, and execution excellence.
- Analyze customer trends, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities for innovation and business expansion.
- Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain) to deliver value-added programs and ensure fulfillment of customer expectations.
- Negotiate high-impact agreements, renewals, and pricing strategies to support profitability and customer retention.
- Oversee performance metrics, forecasting, and reporting for key accounts, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Represent the voice of the customer in internal planning and strategy sessions to influence product development, marketing initiatives, and service models.
- Mentor, develop, and coach account managers to build a high-performing, customer-centric team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in key account management, strategic sales, or customer leadership roles.
- Proven success managing multi-million-dollar accounts and complex customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation, financial acumen, and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience leading teams and collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, D365, Power BI, Excel).
