🌏 Are you a bilingual (Mandarin–English) Project/Program Manager with deep automotive manufacturing experience and the ability to lead complex builds across the US and China?

This is a high-visibility role supporting a Battery Pack Build at a vendor facility in China, with direct exposure to executive leadership.

📌 Assignment Structure

🔹 First half: Onsite between Newark, CA & Phoenix, AZ

🔹 Second half: Onsite in China for the duration of the vendor build

🔹Mandarin Chinese fluency is mandatory

⚙️ What You’ll Do

🔧 Serve as client’s on-site representative at a China-based vendor facility

📊 Lead cross-functional planning with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain & Operations

🗂 Own integrated project schedules aligned to program launch milestones

🏭 Monitor daily production activities to ensure quality & build-spec compliance

🚚 Coordinate inbound materials, outbound logistics, and inventory system readiness

⚠️ Identify, mitigate, and report risks related to timing, quality, and logistics

📣 Present clear executive summaries to VPs, highlighting status, risks, and mitigation plans

🤝 Act as the primary liaison between client teams and vendor operations

⭐ Must-Have Qualifications

✅ 8 years of experience in Automotive Manufacturing Project/Program Management

✅ 8 years managing China-based manufacturing operations & vendors

✅ Business fluency in Mandarin Chinese (Read/Speak/Write)

✅ Executive-level communication & presentation experience

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field

✅ Willingness to be onsite in China for the build duration

🚘 Automotive homologation & salability requirements

🛠 Assembly equipment integrators

📜 PMP certification
