Seeking a hands-on L2 Technician to support server and network infrastructure in a data center environment, including troubleshooting, hardware support, and coordination with remote teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot server hardware issues with remote admins
- Replace faulty components and manage vendor returns
- Perform firmware upgrades and basic server configurations (IP, access)
- Support rack & stack, cabling, and hardware installations
- Assist with network tasks (cabling, optics, connectivity validation)
- Provide hands-on support for ad hoc infrastructure requests
- Conduct inventory checks and physical audits
Requirements
- Experience in data center / server support / IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, cabling, and networking basics
- Ability to work with remote teams in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in enterprise data centers
- Familiarity with switches, optics, and inventory management
