Transylvania County Schools seeks a Teacher for the Middle School Rebound Program at Davidson River School. Position is available August 17, 2026, for the 2026-27 school year. Position is full-time and includes employment benefits; 10-month employment term. The successful candidate will provide direct instruction, facilitate distance learning opportunities, and provide social-emotional support for middle school students served in a multi-age, multi-level classroom within an Alternate Learning Program setting. Applicants for the position must hold or be eligible to hold appropriate NC licensure (Middle Grades Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and/or Social Studies) and/or Special Education: General Curriculum. Candidate must be "highly qualified" in the license area pursuant to federal No Child Left Behind regulations.
