Details
- Monday-Friday
- 7AM-5PM
- Traveling around the DFW area, assisting in maintaining customer equipment and TransWood's fleet of trucks
- 60-Day Independent Contractor inspections
- Trailer inspections including but not limited to trailer lighting inspections/light repairs/DOT tape replacement/tire inspections
- Brake inspections including but not limited to adjustments/brake stroke measurements/airline inspections and repairs
- Lane inspections on 3 different yards
- Reporting the schedule of preventative maintenance inspections on equipment
- Managing and maintaining work orders, parts inventory on the service truck, and tools necessary for conducting the inspections and repairs
- Any other duties assigned by the Shop Manager

Are You Qualified?
- Valid drivers license, Class A CDL is preferred
- Satisfactory driving record
- 1 year tractor trailer mechanic experience required
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Proper set of hand tools, company provided tools if necessary
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
