THE JOB:
TransPremier is seeking an experienced Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting and talent acquisition for our growing trucking and road construction operations. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding qualified employees including CDL drivers, equipment operators, skilled trades, subcontractors, and other team members. This position offers the opportunity to build recruiting strategies, strengthen our talent pipeline, and directly impact the growth of a leading Florida construction company. The ideal candidate is fully bilingual in English and Spanish, has related recruiting experience, and possesses trucking and road construction industry knowledge. Must be willing to learn and apply DOT, DOL, OSHA, and FMCSA requirements related to transportation and workplace compliance.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including workforce planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, hiring, onboarding, and new hire orientation for hourly, skilled trade, CDL, and professional positions.
- Partner with Managers to identify hiring needs, develop recruiting strategies, create job descriptions, and source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, job fairs, and industry outreach.
- Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates by assessing experience, technical qualifications, driving records, certifications, licenses, and safety history to ensure DOT and company compliance.
- Hire and onboard top talent who align with company values while delivering a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Operations, and Safety Departments to coordinate onboarding, orientation, field training, compliance, workforce development, and employee retention initiatives.
- Monitor recruiting metrics, maintain accurate hiring records, and identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and hiring effectiveness.

- You have a solid understanding of the trucking and road construction industry. You’re familiar with asphalt paving and milling operations and can speak the language of the field.
QUALIFICATIONS / MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, or Human Resources, with proven success sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retaining qualified employees.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal) with excellent interpersonal, interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience.
- Proficient in HRIS and recruiting software (Paylocity or similar), Microsoft Office, and Canva, with strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, CDL recruiting, construction, trucking, transportation, or road construction recruiting is preferred, but not required.
- Valid driver's license required with the flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend hiring activities, job fairs, and recruiting events.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
