What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Driver position at TRANSPORTATION?
Seaman USD #345 is looking for bus drivers. Qualifications:
- Hold or be able to attain a valid CDL (Commercial Driver License) with required endorsements.
- Have and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Have at least one year's driving experience (any vehicle) including experience in all four seasons.
- Meet all state requirements for school bus drivers, including current certification in defensive driving, first aid and CPR.
- Pass required DOT physical examination (after employment offer is made).
- Pass a pre-employment drug test required under FHWA authority (after employment offer is made).
- Pass all district training requirements.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- Demonstrate aptitude and competence for the job.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
