POSITION: REGULAR/SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVERS
Transportation Department - Building 210
EFFECTIVE DATE: 2024 - 2025 School Year
SALARY: $23.02 per hour for training and substitute
$26.24 per hour for Contracted position

SCHEDULE: Part time/Contracted
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED: (Qualifications which are essential to the position)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain a Washington State Driver’s License
- Ability to pass DOT physical to obtain necessary license
- Must have five (5) years driving experience
- Physically and mentally able to perform daily routine
- Must provide a complete abstract of driving record for 5 years (available from Dept. of Licensing) current within 30 days of application
- Must work within designated bounds of authority and confidentiality
- Demonstrated punctuality and an excellent work attendance record
- Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain professional, cooperative working relationships
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with staff, students and patrons
- Ability to do school bus vehicle inspections and maneuver bus under all driving conditions
- Ability to work effectively with large groups of students
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Positions may be regular or substitute as needed
- Must be willing to undergo Pre employment drug and alcohol testing and Randoms throughout your employment
- Must not take/use any form of marijuana
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bilingual English/Spanish
