What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver (multiple positions) position at Transportation?
Start Date: ASAP
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Must have a valid and current Michigan Driver’s License
- Must obtain Michigan CDL license with BPS and airbrake endorsement
- Must have an excellent driving record
- Must be able to pass periodic random drug and alcohol testing
- Must be available and able to perform job duties
- Must have good attendance and punctuality records
- Must present a good public appearance in manner and dress
- Must have the ability to communicate with students, parents and school personnel
- On the job training maybe required
- May require lifting
- Must sign a Confidentiality Agreement
- Must sign a Technology Agreement
- Must take and pass a written test and hands on test
- Must be able to pass Michigan School Bus Driver pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must attend 21 hour of safety classes
