What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Assistant position at Transportation?
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Paraeducator Certification preferred
- Excellent attendance record required
- Experience working with students with special needs strongly preferred
- An interest and enjoyment working with students
- Willingness and ability to be trained in non-medical intervention procedures, and etc.
- Must be available and able to perform job duties
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to lift at up to 50 lbs
- Bus Assistant is responsible for riding the bus with students who need assistance
