Transportation Services Unlimited is seeking an experienced and highly motivated dispatcher with a positive attitude to work in a fast-paced environment. Join our team and be a crucial contributor to our night shift operations, ensuring seamless transportation services and customer satisfaction!
Responsibilities
- Receive orders, process paperwork, and create delivery tickets daily
- Prepare and reconcile daily trip sheets and load sheets.
- Ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.
- Utilize systems, reports, and monitoring devices provided by the company to better manage fleet (i.e. GPS systems)
- Establishes and maintains delivery routes to optimize fleet operations.
- Issues equipment to drivers such as PPE, log books, and uniforms
- 24-7 on call, must be available to tend to the needs of diverse, routes, and equipment. Some weekend work required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises drivers, including their activities while on their routes
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Interview, hire, and train drivers, including the evaluation of driver performance

- Strong logistics and dispatching skills
- Excellent communication and phone etiquette
- Familiarity with transportation management systems
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems and fleet management tasks
- Strong supervisory skills to train, guide and support your local fleet

Pay: $46,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
