TRANSPORTATION REPAIR SERVICE, INC.
We are currently looking to fill 2 positions for Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians within our business. We are locally owned and have been in business for nearly 30 years. We have a large reputable customer base servicing all lines of trucks and trailers. We are looking for reliable team members to join our team. If you have a Knowledgeable Diesel mechanic background experience, we may want you to join our team.
Job responsibilities include: Diesel Engine Repairs and preventive maintenance; DOT and NYS inspections; Engine overhauls, Transmission work, DEF systems, etc.
Job requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum 1-year previous experience in Heavy Duty Diesel engine repair.
- Must have your own tools.
- Valid driver’s license required, CDL is a plus.
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter.
- Proficient Computer Diagnostic skills (ABS, CEL, DPF Systems, etc)
Desired Skills, but not required:
- Electrical wiring experience
Full time positions with varied authorized work schedules are available Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must be available to work overtime to complete jobs as directed by management. Additional weekly overtime is routinely available. Starting pay rates are based on experience and job knowledge.

Pay: $31.09 - $32.66 per hour
