What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Grounds Maintenance position at Transportation/Maintenance?
EMPLOYEE QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have required knowledge of current standards of outside grounds work and follow all safety procedures.
2. Must be physically able to fully perform all outside grounds and required maintenance duties on a regular basis and to assist in school building snow and ice removal.
3. Must be able to capably operate all machines and equipment.
4. Must be able to lift 70lbs.
5. Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
6. Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one year of employment.
7. Must be willing and able to respond to school emergencies.
8. Must have a black seal boilers license or obtain one within a year of hire.
Reports to the Gounds Supervisor
Salary: Compensation will be on the Delsea Regional High School District Board of Education's approved Maintenance/Custodian Unit Salary Guide. Job starts at current minimum wage.
