What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transportation Mechanic position at Transportation Department?
The Pittsgrove Township School District is seeking qualified candidates to fill the following
vacancies effective June 2026 through the 2026-2027 school year:
- TRANSPORTATION MECHANIC - CDL Required, Experience Preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of high school diploma
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in all phases of automobile, truck and/or bus repair and maintenance
- Must have or be able to obtain CDL with school bus endorsement upon hire or no later than within three months of employment
- Automotive Refrigerant License (Code 609), preferred
- Such alternates to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
- Must be available for snow plowing/removal
Employment Terms: 12 months
Effective Date: June 2026
Salary & Benefits: $50,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience. Family health benefits provided.
