Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- Must be 21 year or older
- Valid and current New Mexico commercial drivers license (CDL Class B) with Air Brake, Passenger, and School Bus Endorsements Training Available
- Medical certificate prescribed Transportation Division and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. .
- Current First Aid certification - Training provided by district.
- No prior convictions as specified in SDE New Mexico Standards for School Bus Operations
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of defensive driving practices, training provided by district.
- Physical abilities to perform the physical tasks required of this position.
- Able to use technology to perform transportation services departmental responsibilities.
- Uses effective people skills to communicate.
