Trailer Inspector / Yard Jockey - Fernandina Beach, FL
Pay: $22.00/hour Overtime after 40 hours
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Description:
We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused Trailer Inspector / Yard Jockey to join our team. In this role, you'll spend the majority of your shift performing inspections on numerous trailers in accordance with WestRock guidelines and training materials. You'll also help maintain an organized yard by managing loaded and empty trailers and safely moving trailers when needed.
Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough inspections on multiple trailers following WestRock inspection guidelines
• Complete inspection checklists detailing all findings
• Inspect assigned trailers as directed throughout the shift
• Utilize a door strap when opening swing doors if there is any possibility of cargo shifting inside the trailer
• Maintain organization of loaded and empty trailers throughout the yard
• Safely move trailers as a yard jockey when required
• Follow all company safety procedures and yard protocols

Qualifications:

• Previous trailer inspection, yard, warehouse, or yard jockey experience preferred
• Ability to work safely in an active yard environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to accurately complete inspection documentation
• Dependable with a strong work ethic

• Minimum 12 months of Class A experience within the last 2 years
• Satisfactory Employment Verifications for the past 3 years.
• Satisfactory Driving Record subject to TCI's Safety Insurance Criteria
