Junior Accountant

What You’ll Do:
- Assist with general ledger and month-end close activities
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Post general ledger and job cost entries
- Prepare and maintain financial reports
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with audits and internal reviews
- Work with internal departments to resolve accounting questions
What We’re Looking For:
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger activity
- Experience with account reconciliations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, or reporting tools
- Crystal Reports experience is a plus
Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time, on-site in Cooperstown, NY.
Salary: $45,000–$51,000 annually, based on experience.
