Mobile Transport Refrigeration Technician

Mobile Reefer or Transport Refrigeration Technician. 3 years experience in the field preferred but willing to talk to technicians with diesel engine or HVAC background. Must have or be able to get 608 certification along with have and maintain a clean driving record and pass a DOT physical. Work is primarily out of service truck must be willing to work outside in all types of weather. Uniforms and specialty equipment provided. We work on all makes and models, Thermo King, Carrier, Daikin, Kingtec, Zanotti, truck, trailer, rail, container and goophy stuff. Largely work by ourselves, need to be self sufficient, self driven and motivated, honest, and have good communication skills. Need to be efficient with laptop as well. Job consists of diesel engine, electrical, high voltage AC, and complex HVAC work. Must be able to think outside the box, and diagnose multiple different types of systems. Must be able to remove and replace components on all these different systems safely and efficiently. Need to be able to work off ladders and catwalks on a daily basis safely. We do work for large fleets and for small customers, need to be able to adapt to customers and sell yourself and your work. Job is 40hrs a week year round, with busy summers, and after hours work available. You get to take the service truck home, company cell phone and laptop provided, along with benefits and weekly pay.
