What You’ll Do
- Repair minor and major issues of refrigeration units and the ability to diagnose problems with the units which included but not limited to:
o Use of OEM software to diagnose issues, read codes, clear codes, download
o Ability to read refrigerant unit wiring diagrams and wiring schematics
o Ability to use multi-meter to perform electrical diagnostics
o Ability to program microprocessor
o Proper use of reclaiming machine to recover and recycle refrigerant
o Proficient in soldering all types of joints and tubes
o Ability to read refrigerant unit wiring diagrams and wiring schematics
o Ability to use multi-meter to perform electrical diagnostics
o Ability to program microprocessor
o Proper use of reclaiming machine to recover and recycle refrigerant
o Proficient in soldering all types of joints and tubes
- Servicing truck systems — cooling, fuel, drive train, brakes, suspension
- Performing PMs and DOT inspections on trucks and trailers
- Repairing ABS systems, APU units, and trailer structures
- Roadside service, tire repairs, and equipment cleaning
- Operates company and customer vehicles, forklifts, hoists and tools
- Maintaining accurate repair times and a clean workspace
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
✅ Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Obtain a toolbox and required tools
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant systems
