The Role

Support the delivery of the career and talent management strategy across the organisation, with particular focus on the recruitment and career paths of the highest quality staff while delivering the recruitment and selection of talent by ensuring best practice is followed by the company, advising and coaching line managers and ensuring that the best recruitment decisions are made within our legal obligations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of timely, fair and effective recruitment campaigns; actively managing company resource plans in line with business needs. Ensure that recruitment documentation including job adverts, job descriptions and all candidate offer paperwork is issued to the required timescales and to the highest standard, accurately reflecting terms and conditions offered by the company.
  • Manage the provision of an effective assessment service for operational colleagues, which complies to national industry standards.
  • Manage the new starter process by collaborating with the Recruitment Admin team for all successful candidates ensuring all onboarding documentation is received in line with UK legislation and any other national industry requirements and the relevant recruitment and HR systems are updated accordingly.
  • Continuous improvement of customer focused, cost-effective and innovative recruitment solutions using a range of techniques and in line with the latest research.
  • Arrange and conduct bespoke assessment centres for recruitment purposes to effectively assess the required competencies.

Who We're Looking For

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role
  • Experience of delivering Assessment Centres and be qualified in Level A & B, BPS Psychometric testing or be willing to undertake training within the first 3 months.
  • Experience of recruiting for high volume roles with challenging timescales
  • Experience of designing and delivering innovative recruitment solutions
  • Demonstrable experience of using Applicant Tracking Systems

Welsh Language Skills

While not essential for this role, Welsh language skills would make a great addition to your application.
