What are the responsibilities and job description for the Remote Speech Contributor – United States (No Experience Needed) position at TransPerfect?
We are looking for a wide variety of English (United States) speakers with various regional accents for a study aimed to improve voice assistant technologies.
This is a fully remote study. You can participate from anywhere within the United States.
Task Description:
Participants will record short wake-up phrases and scripted utterances typically used when interacting with a voice assistant.
Who is eligible?
To participate you should meet the following qualifying criteria:
- Be born and live in the United States
- Idiomatic fluency in English (United States)
- Be able to use a mobile phone with microphone or headset
- Have access to a quiet indoor environment to do the recordings
Note: During the application phase, you will need to record one sentence in English for regional accent identification.
Task duration:
The estimated duration of the recording task is 30 minutes.
Compensation:
You will receive $25 USD for your fully completed and accepted assets.
We offer a referral bonus of $7 USD for each participant you refer who successfully completes the project (available for registrations submitted starting from June 9).
