What are the responsibilities and job description for the Los Angeles Residents Wanted for a Home Study Project position at TransPerfect?
We’re looking for Los Angeles residents to take part in our Colby Jack Research Study — a short home-based project that helps improve real-world technology and smart home services.
What’s Involved
You’ll set up two small video-only devices in your home for about 7–10 days — one near your main entrance and one in your living or dining area.
- Recordings are video only (no audio).
- You can pause or stop anytime.
- Review your footage on a provided laptop, where you can delete any clips you don’t want to share.
- Share at least 120 hours of recordings from each device.
Who Can Join
To qualify, you must:
- Live in the Los Angeles, CA
- Have no children under 18 living in your home
- Be able to follow setup instructions and review clips on a computer
- Communicate comfortably in English
- Provide consent (and get consent from any other adults in your household)
What You’ll Get
Earn $400 for completing the study and sharing the required recordings.
