Overview:
Transparent Space Therapy is seeking Registered Clinical Interns (MSW track) to join our growing practice. This is a paid, supervision-rich opportunity designed for a motivated emerging clinician who is ready to contribute to a trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice.
Interns will start with a structured training phase, followed by a clinical caseload and revenue-generating responsibilities under the supervision of a licensed provider. This is a 1099 independent contractor role and offers flexibility with a strong foundation of mentorship and development.
Compensation:
- Paid per completed client session at $35–$40/session based on experience
- Interns are paid monthly as 1099 contractors (must track and invoice sessions)
- Compensation begins once the intern has an assigned caseload (following training phase)
Responsibilities
- MUST BE A REGISTERED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK INTERN (RCSWI) OR ELIGIBLE TO APPLY
- Weekly 1:1 supervision
- Attend Trainings and professional development opportunities
- Participation in team meetings
- Manage a caseload of 8–10 clients/week (gradual ramp-up)
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, intakes, and ongoing therapy
- Document SOAP notes and treatment plans in Therapy Notes
- Attend supervision and apply feedback to improve clinical skillset
- Collaborate on program development and client engagement activities
Ideal Candidate:
- Must have a MSW degree
- registered as a clinical intern in Florida (Social Work) or plans to register before starting the position
- Excellent communication, accountability, and cultural humility
- Committed to transparency, consistency, and personal growth
- Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a clinical team
- Interest in trauma, relationships, anxiety/depression, or life transitions
