TransOx is looking for a Respiratory Therapist that can conduct quarterly home visits and set-up the occasional Ventilator.
Benefits available for full time employees.
Full Time would be 40 hours a week - Monday - Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct home oxygen education assessments & follow a daily schedule
- Provide patient education and set-up to patients with home oxygen and ventilator needs. Continued training and follow up as required.
- Perform testing and preventive maintenance on respiratory equipment in patients’ residence
- Instruct patients, caregivers, physicians and physicians’ staff on the proper use of respiratory equipment and necessary cleaning requirements
- Deliver/Pick-Up equipment and/or supplies to patient’s homes as necessary
- Complete necessary paperwork for billing/Joint Commission purposes in a timely manner
- Other duties as necessary or as directed by management
Qualifications:
· RT license (Must be licensed in South Carolina with willingness to get licensed in Georgia & North Carolina)
· Detail oriented
· Must be able to function in fast past environment
· This position requires background check, pre-employment drug screen, TB test, & driving record check.
