Compensation: starting hourly rate up to $20.60

Transnetyx Tissue is looking for an organized, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and enjoys balancing customer service, operations, shipping, and administrative support.
As our Office Operations Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in supporting customers, coordinating orders, and helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of meaningful scientific work.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email
- Process and schedule customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Create estimates, invoices, shipping labels, and sales orders
- Coordinate daily order communication with laboratory staff
- Package and prepare domestic and international shipments
- Assist with inventory, purchasing, and receiving deliveries
- Support office operations, supplies, and facility coordination
- Collaborate across teams to ensure excellent customer experience
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred
- 2 years of office, operations, customer service, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organization and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and business systems
- NetSuite or accounting software experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Physical & Work Environment
- This is an active office and operations role that includes computer work, shipping support, packaging, inventory handling, and occasional lifting (typically around 20 lbs. on a daily basis, although up to 50 lbs. at times).
- Hazmat training will be provided as part of order fulfillment responsibilities.
