Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of welding experience with Arc, MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding.
- Experience operating torches, drills, plasma cutters, saws, and shears.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
- Comfortable working at heights.
- Ability to travel locally on occasion.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform Arc, MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding on steel components and structural materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble steel components according to specifications.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
- Safely operate welding equipment, grinders, cutting torches, and other metalworking tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow established safety procedures and quality standards.
