What are the responsibilities and job description for the Used Automotive Parts Sales Associate position at Transmission Plus/AAA Parts & Salvage?
We sell New and Used Parts. We are a Salvage Yard and a Full Service Automotive Shop. We are looking for key team members to help us to continue to improve our customer service experience for each potential customer.
I am looking for someone that has automotive parts experience, that has the ability to build a customer base by treating our customers professionally with proper follow-up skills.
Experience using Hollander Salvage Yard software a plus, will train.
Assist with all aspects of selling of new and used parts, etc.
Candidate must have excellent customer service skills and be able to multi-task.
Assist each customer from initial point of contact to completion of the sale.
Create Purchase orders as necessary when parts are purchased for re-sale from other Yards/Vendors.
Candidate must have an understanding of the automotive industry and prior experience selling new and used parts.
Candidate must have interest in learning automotive industry and components of a vehicle.
This is a front counter position, but you have to walk the yard and know what inventory we have and be able to inspect parts pulled and received from other yards for quality control purposes.
Work hours are 8:00 - 5:30 M-F

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
