Job Description: We seek a qualified aircraft mechanic to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of Embraer Phenom 300 aircraft. This individual will be working in paired groups in a dual role as a technician and an RII inspector. Each technician will perform maintenance and also inspect the others work to ensure compliance and safety. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform scheduled Inspections, routine maintenance checks, and other time requirements. Troubleshoot airframe and engine systems to diagnose the root cause and rectify discrepancies and malfunctions. Complete airframe and engine service bulletins. Complete tasks within allotted flat rate posted times. Perform all repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks per manufacturers published instructions and all applicable FAA regulations. They must be a problem solver, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about aircraft systems and parts. Consult aircraft, engine, & component maintenance manuals and other documents to assist with troubleshooting and repairs Inventory aircraft parts, supplies, and equipment, and keep detailed records of inspections, repairs, and other maintenance operations Collaborate with other mechanics and engineers to perform repairs and ensure aircraft are operating safely. Ensure the safety and reliability of the TMDX fleet of aircraft Maximize TMDX dispatch reliability and maximize in-service availability through prompt diagnosis of mechanical problems and execution of precise, reliable repairs Maintain a professional environment with a focus on efficiency Perform routine maintenance operations to the highest industry standard. Contribute to workplace safety, organization, and productivity Perfoms other TransMedics duties and tasks as required. BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS: FAA Airframe & Powerplant license 3 years' of experience as a mechanic on corporate aircraft Prior troubleshooting experience on corporate aircraft Able to work in paired groups Comfortable in the role as an inspector and technician Must have own set of tools used fore the support of aircraft Flexibility to travel to different locations to address AOG aircraft PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Embraer Phenom 300 Experience with Bombardier CL350/3500 Experience as an inspector or RII inspector with a CFR Part 135 or 145 operation.
