Translation Excellence, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Proposals Coordinator to join our Business Development team. This entry-level position is crucial for our growth, as the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, tracking, and coordinating responses to government contract opportunities. The Proposals Coordinator will work closely with senior staff to ensure the timely and accurate submission of high-quality proposals and bids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opportunity Identification: Proactively monitor and search various government portals and databases (e.g., SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, FedBizOpps, etc.) for new government contract opportunities related to language services.
- Bid Management: Track and maintain a pipeline of potential contracts, including key deadlines, requirements, and points of contact.
- Proposal Coordination: Assist in the development and preparation of proposal documents, ensuring all submissions are complete, accurate, and compliant with all solicitation requirements.
- Document Management: Organize and maintain a repository of reusable proposal content, including company boilerplate, past performance references, resumes, and other supporting documentation.
- Compliance & Review: Conduct initial reviews of solicitations to identify key requirements, evaluation criteria, and any potential red flags.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Business Development Director, subject matter experts, and other team members to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Business Development team as needed.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an office or administrative environment is preferred. Experience with government contracting or proposal management is a plus, but not required.
- Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive and independent work ethic, with a desire to learn about the government contracting process.
