What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Qualification Specialist position at TransLand?

Position Purpose
Streamline onboarding processes and ensure seamless integration of new hires into the organization.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Assist with the driver onboarding process, which includes, but not limited to, employment verifications, MVR, background checks, drug and alcohol screens and physicals
- Work with Recruiting, Safety and HR departments in hiring new drivers.
- Set up driver DOT files
- Book appointments, travel, and orientation for new drivers and communicate all orientation information to drivers
- Ensure new driver DOT compliance
- Update driver referral bonus and driver sign on bonus as needed to payroll
- Maintain weekly Recruiting reports
- Process incoming employment verifications
- Answer incoming phone calls
- Assist with driver recruiting and other requirements as requested
- Follow up with drivers after 30 days of employment
Qualifications
- Highly proficient computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Tenstreet (or similar ATS)
- Looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, has excellent organizational skills, and possess the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Must possess good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Prior knowledge of the Trucking/Logistics industry
Work Environment: Indoors, climate controlled office environment with moderate noise levels.

Pay: $39,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
