Family Support Program Specialist, Youth Community Support Worker

Do you have a heart for kids? Want to help families? Consider a career as our Family Support Program (FSP) Specialist/Youth Community Support Worker in which you would assist youth who have severe emotional disturbances. You would help the children's families access, understand, and utilize FSP-covered services such as community mental health, family support services, and residential treatment when medically necessary. Responsibilities include assisting with service authorization, developing treatment plans and safety plans, providing case management, conducting assessments, offering family support and education, coordinating with community providers, and managing client documentation and eligibility.

This position requires:

• BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other Human Services field
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and a good driving record
• Ability to pass fingerprint background checks and drug test
• Work in natural settings such as homes, schools, and/or in the community
• After-hours on-call coverage 3-4 times/month
