Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP) get to provide direct support to adults who have intellectual/developmental disabilities by creating and conducting fun, engaging activities in our day program, providing personal care (such as feeding, cleaning and changing), teaching helpful job skills in our job training program, and/or providing on-the-job supports to those who have jobs in the community. The ideal candidate is active, creative, and patient with a heart for helping others. If you have CNA experience and are looking for less lifting and more teamwork, this may be the job for you!
Paid training provided.
Hours of Work:
- Daytime hours of work, Monday --> Friday
- Must be available to work between the hours of 7am and 5pm
- After-hours on-call rotation 3-4 weeks/year where employee must be able to respond onsite at a Transitions location in Quincy, IL within 45 minutes.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3 years as licensed driver and good driving record
- Ability to pass criminal background checks and drug/alcohol tests
- 19 years of age
Pay range $18.50 - $19.42/hour
