Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as an Advanced Practice Provider located in Wasilla, AK. While on-site work is required, this position also offers flexibility for remote work as well. The role involves collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams to provide care for people with substance use disorders. The APP will be integral in supporting ongoing care initiatives, maintaining clinical guidelines, and offering non-stigmatizing, compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in addiction medicine and primary care to deliver evidence-based, general medical treatment to patients.
- Experience in primary care or emergency medicine to manage general health conditions or acute medical conditions effectively.
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant qualifications with a dedication to multidisciplinary collaboration and patient advocacy.
- Current licensure and certification required to practice in Alaska.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities as needed.
