This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative finance team within a company known for its customer-first approach and commitment to quality service delivery.Direct HireOnsite 92121$75,000 - $85,000 with excellent company benefitsResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day Accounts Receivable operations including cash application, invoice reconciliation, and customer account maintenanceMonitor AR aging and proactively follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances to support timely collectionsInvestigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash in partnership with customers and internal teamsIssue credit memos, adjustments, and account corrections as neededMaintain accurate customer account records including balances, payment trends, and transaction historySupport month-end close activities related to AR, including reconciliations and reportingReview the existing customer portfolio to identify shifts in creditworthiness and adjust credit limits as neededEvaluate and recommend credit terms for newly established customer accountsOrganize, update, and monitor credit documentation within the ERP systemAuthorize shipments and release orders from credit hold, communicating status updates to sales teams and customersInvestigate customer credit issues and escalate matters when necessaryComplete customer and vendor-related documentation and compliance formsAssist the Accounting Department with additional duties and special projects as requiredQualifications10 years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable and credit functionsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience preferredExperience with AR processes including collections, cash applications, and account reconciliationsBackground in credit analysis and customer credit evaluationsProficiency with Microsoft Great Plains or similar ERP system is a plusStrong customer service skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersCompany DescriptionTransition Staffing Group is an award winning San Diego based staffing agency providing solutions on a Temporary, Temporary-to-Hire and Direct Hire basis.
