Transition Staffing Group is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company with over 40 years of industry success to hire a Senior Accountant. This is a high-impact, hands-on role working directly alongside the CFO, offering strong visibility, stability, and a clear path for growth into an Accounting Manager position.

Key Responsibilities
- Own general ledger activities including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare financial statements and internal reporting packages for leadership
- Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across accounts
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis
- Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and support year-end audit activities
- Partner cross-functionally with operations on inventory reconciliation and analysis
- Monitor AR/AP aging and assist with collections and cash flow visibility
- Support cash flow tracking and basic treasury functions
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
- Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Proven ability to own the close process and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced environment
Preferred / Plus Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems (D365, SAP, or similar)
- Prior experience supporting audits and working with external auditors/CPAs
- Exposure to inventory accounting and operational collaboration
- Bilingual English/Korean skills are a plus
