What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic position at Transitair / TTA Systems, LLC?
Performs work station or line assembly operations to mass produce railcar components.
Performs mechanical assembly of complicated components
Perform strip, clean and repair operations
Reads drawings/blueprints
Skilled with normal hand tools
Skilled in the use of mechanical measurement devices (i.e., micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
Perform layout work for simple assembly
Operate fork truck, man lifts, jib cranes and overhead crane
Some supervision required for all tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Experience:
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
- Railcar mechanic: 1 year (Preferred)
