What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sun Van Chauffeur Part-time position at Transit?
Position Summary
Safely operate a paratransit vehicle using an assigned passenger schedule to determine route; pick up, transport, and drop off persons whose disabilities prevent them from using fixed-route bus service; work odd shifts, weekends, and special events.
This is a safety sensitive position subject to random drug/alcohol testing.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
- High School diploma or GED or successful completion of one (1) WorkKeys® Skills Assessments (listed below).
- Experience in driving an Americans with Disabilities (ADA) accessible vehicle is preferred.
- Graphic Literacy with a minimum score of Level 3
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License, or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a valid City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
Must pass physical exam and required drug testing and successfully complete Sun Van Chauffeur training.Preferred Knowledge
