Transit Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills and reliability who would like to be part of a knowledgeable and caring veterinary team. We are a privately owned (NOT corporate) AAHA accredited small animal hospital. We are a growing hospital with 3 doctors and would like to focus on growth and investment in our veterinary technicians to the fullest. Our vet techs work closely with our doctors and assistants to provide the most compassionate and excellent care for our patients. We are all hardworking, respectful, empathetic individuals who also enjoy the family like atmosphere at our hospital. Must have the ability to work independently and with others. Must have current NYS Licensing for position. We encourage new graduates to apply!
We are looking to hire a part-time individual.
We are flexible with hours and schedules. We understand the importance of work/life balance. Saturday rotations are required.

Job Types: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday 7:30am-5pm
- Saturday 7:30am -12pm
Education:
- Associates or Bachelors in Veterinary Technology
- Candidates should have experience in the following areas: surgical assistance, pharmacy duties, lab work, radiology, monitoring of patients, maintaining anesthetized patients and handling medical records. Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
