As a vital link in our logistics chain, you will ensure timely, safe, and efficient deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.DutiesSafely operate Class A commercial vehicles such as refrigerated trailers and dry van trailers, across assigned routes.Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment like electric pallet jacks.Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to meet delivery schedules while adhering to safety protocols.Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit, especially when handling specialized loads like refrigerated goods.Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip and communicate any issues or delays promptly.Collaborate with dispatch teams to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments as needed.SkillsProven experience in truck driving with a valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL).Skilled in operating commercial vehicles confidently and safely.Experience driving various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, and dry van.Knowledge of freight handling procedures such as load securing, load & unload operations, and cargo safety standards.Ability to navigate route driving efficiently using GPS or other navigation tools.Familiarity with electric pallet jacks operation for loading/unloading cargo when required.Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance standards related to commercial driving.
